Admission Requirements

Northwestern Technological Institute admits as regular students, persons who have a high school diploma or the recognized equivalent of a high school diploma, such as a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.). Applicants, who are unable to meet these requirements and are beyond the age of compulsory school attendance, may be admitted if they demonstrate the ability to benefit from the training by obtaining a satisfactory score on the appropriate Ability to Benefit (ATB) test.

It is the responsibilty of the student to provide satisfactory documentation regarding their high school diploma, G.E.D., or to acheive a passing score on the Ability to Benefit entrance exam no later than the second week of the program. Failure to provide the necessary documentation will result in the student being required to cease attending until he / she is able to provide the appropriate documentation, or until the student acheives a passing score on the Ability to Benefit test.
